1. Information We Collect

PureSave collects minimal information to operate the Service:

  • Video URLs — submitted by you for processing. Not stored permanently.
  • IP address — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Not linked to personal profiles.
  • Metadata cache — video title, thumbnail, and format info cached for up to 4 hours to improve performance.
  • Language preference — stored locally in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to our servers.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require or collect your name, email, or personal information
  • We do not store downloaded video files on our servers
  • We do not use tracking pixels or cross-site tracking cookies
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process your video download requests
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the Service
  • To monitor and improve Service performance
  • To respond to legal requests if required by law

4. Cookies & Local Storage

PureSave uses browser localStorage only to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. You can clear your localStorage at any time through your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

When you submit a URL, our backend communicates with the source platform (YouTube, TikTok, etc.) to extract video information. Your IP address is not forwarded to these platforms — all requests are made from our server infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

Video metadata is cached in Redis for a maximum of 4 hours for YouTube and less for other platforms. Server access logs (including IP addresses) are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, most traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply in the conventional sense. If you have concerns about specific data, please contact us.

8. Children's Privacy

PureSave is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used our service, please contact us.
